Yes. Follow the instructions and you'll get a form of activation. Anyhow it works.

Jag hade samma problem, lyckades aldrig någon version över 9.04 att fungera. Sedan provade jag att uppgradera en befintlig installation av 8.1.3 och då lyckades jag få igång allt :) Jag har gjort om samma procedur flera gånger och vet att det fungerar.
Oh, forgot to write in English. Translation:
I had the same problem, never succeeded to get any version above 9.04 to work. I then tried to upgrade an existing installation of 8.1.3 and that worked :) I have repeated the same procedure several times and I know it really works.
